Frequently asked questions

Why does my breaker keep tripping?

Common causes include an overloaded circuit, a faulty appliance, a short circuit or a ground fault. Repeated tripping should be evaluated, not ignored.

Is a flickering light dangerous?

It may be a simple bulb or dimmer issue, but it can also indicate a loose connection. If it persists, have it checked.

Can I reset a breaker myself?

Resetting once is usually fine. If it trips again, stop resetting it and contact an electrician.
